statement on chhath
When asked about the political allegations and counter-allegations between the Delhi BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party government in the national capital over the ban on Chhath Puja due to the pandemic, sources said that all states have standard operating procedures (SOPs) for observing the festival. And no politics should be done on this.
Delhi government has written a letter to Mandaviya in this regard. In fact, the state unit of BJP has targeted the Arvind Kejriwal-led government for this. When asked whether the central government was considering resuming exports of vaccines, official sources said it would be considered only after the domestic requirement is met.
